What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is a voluntary process by which colleges, universities, and professional schools ensure their institutional integrity through an independent comprehensive and rigorous review process. The most credible type of international accreditation appropriate for the Postgraduate School of Credit and Financial Management (PSCFM) is the Institute of Credit Administration (ICA), Africa’s largest body for credit management, has accredited PSCFM and therefore recognizes the knowledge and skill acquired by those who have followed PSCFM programmes by offering grades of membership to students who pass levels 2 and 3 of PSCFM’s examinations.

PSCFM ENDORSEMENT

COLLABORATION WITH THE INSTITUTE OF CREDIT ADMINISTRATION

The Institute of Credit Administration (ICA) is Africa’s largest body for credit management, has accredited PSCFM and therefore recognizes the knowledge and skill acquired by those who have followed PSCFM programmes by offering grades of membership to students who pass levels 2 and 3 of PSCFM’s examinations.
Completion of the Executive Specialist Postgraduate Diploma programme in credit management entitles a student to apply for the grade of “Associate” member of the ICA and to use the designatory letters AICA.

AUTHORITATIVE COMMENTS:

-Prof. S. K. Okwute
Former VC, Kogi State University.

“The Postgraduate School of Credit & Financial Management (PSCFM) (formerly Graduate School of Credit Administration) is unique in the sense that it is the first and probably the only institution in Nigeria offering credit management as a specialized programme.
I wish to use this forum (during one of the PSCFM graduation ceremony) therefore, to urge companies, banks and other financial institutions to send their staff for training in this school. Faculties and schools of management sciences in tertiary institutions should include credit management in their programmes.”

-Prof. Isiaka Pedro
Dean, representing the VC,
National Open University, Lagos.

“We are happy at the timely intervention of the Postgraduate School of Credit & Financial Management (PSCFM) in its vital contribution to Credit Management training in the Nigerianeconomy. This, in particular, is a welcome development in view of our recent experimental tour of a virile market economy.
